and even western and country music.
was founded 2003 by the guitarist and singer Ole Morisse and the harp player Danny Lee. Both were established blues musicians in different bands and for their young ages they were said to be promising talents in the German blues scene.
During a short period of time the Band developed to a notable Blues Band on stages of relevant clubs and festivals in Germany and other countries.
After a break of a few years the band started in 2010 a revival with the original lineup of Christian Krause on the drums and the bass player Jürgen Streithorst.
Meanwhile the distinctive and perfected sound of the band was recorded 2011 on their first official record “In The Mood” and got a lot of airplay in international radio blues channels.
In 2013 the talented and remarkably young drummer Rasmus Bruns replaced the highly active music agent Christian Krause on the drums.
After tragic loss of our beloved bass player Jürgen in 2020 we had to take half year pause in music making. And then Christian steped in.
For 2021 the Band starts again to play live on stage, so don’t miss it to experience a night full of Blues and Rock with the Green Blues Band!
Green Blues Bands main engine. Master of blues guitar and vocals, but can also do some country or even western. Also author of all GBB own songs. Likes Beck's beer and a decent cuban cigar.
Drums & the valve gear of the Green Blues Band, previously played in a number of heavy metal bands and has enought power to break some tick blues walls. Likes coke, but also drinks beer sometimes, as a part of team building.
The Green Blues Bands steam whistle build a brass section of the band (aka "blues harp"). Originally from Lithuania he speaks also Russian and Lithuanian and does some "computer works" like CD cover design or creation of this web site. Likes plain old craft beer.
We are very glad to have Christian on board and just waiting to gather first live expirience on stage, after brilliant work at our studio.
